Four forms of the verb \u201c<\/span>to be<\/strong>\u201d. In Ateso there are four forms of the verb \u201cto be\u201d.<\/span><\/p>
The first used to express where abouts of something (Ejaas ore<\/strong> — They are at home) or existence of something (Ejaas ikacudak<\/strong> — There are sorcerers).<\/li>
The second form qualifies a state (Eraas Iteso<\/strong> — They are Iteso).<\/li>
The third is used to express numerical value of more than one(quantity) and is therefore applicable only as plural (Imwaas<\/strong> itomon<\/strong> —They are ten).<\/li>
The fourth, is a rare form that the other three, it is used to express size, price or quantity (Etaas ai?<\/strong> — How big is it?).<\/li><\/ul>
